Tara Morgan, Director of Clubhouse Operations and Marketing
Tara came to the Clubhouse in November 2009 with 20 years experience in fundraising and non-profit management.  A 9-year resident of Mount Baker, she runs the Clubhouse and supports the Club doing everything from maintenance to programming.  Her office hours are weekday afternoons Tuesday - Friday.  Come on by!  Email her here.

                                  Mary Joy Lopez, Event Supervisor
Mary Joy has worked at the clubhouse for 10 years.  Her day job is at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center with the Cord Blood Transplant Program and she's lived in the Seward Park neighborhood for 20 years, having grown up in Issaquah.   At the Clubhouse, she enjoys interacting with the community.  Mary Joy's tip for a successful event: Have a  good caterer who will be responsible for more than the food, especially clean up service. It is no fun for family and friends to have the clean up responsibility at the end of a long day!

Hi my name is Joe Kadushin. For the past fifteen years I have worked for the Mt. Baker Community Club. My primary responsibility has been setting up and taking down the table and chairs for the various social events that take place at the club.  In addition, I have filled in as an events supervisor as well as other duties that various club managers over the years have requested of me.

Aside from my employment here, I drive for Metro, clean a building on Capitol Hill and work for the City of Seattle Bicycle Sunday program.  I also volunteer at Beacon Hill elementary school, United Way Tax campaign, Capitol Hill community lunch program, Seattle International Film Festival, Book-It  Repertory Theater, Town Hall, Freedom Socialist Party, Vegfest, National Parks Conservation Association and the KUOW pledge drives.

When not working and volunteering, I enjoy biking, running, traveling and spending time with friends and family including my delightful three year old granddaughter.

                                  Julianne Jaz, MBCC Bookkeeper

                                  Picture
Julianne moved to Seattle in 1984 from Nevada and has never looked back.  Over the past 28 years she’s worked at a number of things, but what they all had in common was that, in addition to whatever her other responsibilities were, she was always the bookkeeper.  When some unexpected life circumstances pointed her in a new direction in 2004, it became clear that bookkeeping should remain the one constant and she started her own bookkeeping business, Getting Current, Financial Housekeeping for the Creatively Inclined.

Julianne specializes in working with small businesses, sole proprietors, and nonprofit organizations, and is absolutely delighted to begin working with the Mount Baker Community Club.  When not wrestling numbers to the ground, she can be found at her spinning wheel, with her trusty companion, Mr. Orange Cat, at her side.  Her regular days at MBCC will be Tuesday and Thursday, and she hopes you’ll stop by to say “Hi!”. To contact her directly, please email: bookkeeper@mountbaker.org.
